We were very lucky to persuade the Deputy Mayor of Argostoli to come along to Lambrini’s Elios Taverna to draw the winning ticket for Jayne’s Leo the Clown. Lambrini’s only has a small indoor section, so a great many of us had to sit outside in the cold, but still it was worth it. Unfortunately, our roving reporter forgot his camera (!), so the only pictures we had were taken with a disposable camera and most were not worth publishing.
 When the winning ticket was drawn, we telephoned the number on the back, and it turned out to be the baker almost opposite, so two of the Santa’s were dispatched to present him with his prize. He was chuffed to meatballs!.
The Santas this year were Carole (the cat), Donna, Karen and Nicki, and they managed to collect 371.13 €, and tickets for Leo raised another 205€, making grand total for the evening of 576.13 €
