Gimpy was found in Argostoli after being savagely kicked in the stomach. His pelvis was broken in 5 places and it was feared that he might be paralysed. Fortunately this was not the case. He made a full recovery and now lives happily at Villa Maura. He loves people but has obviously had some run-ins with other animals in his time because he aggressively chases off the other dogs and cats. Even Gertie the goat (who can sometimes be a bit of a bully) has learned to give him a wide berth. Now he is constantly surrounded by other animals he is slowly beginning to mellow. He actually likes kittens and ginger cats but still hates black & white ones and will only just tolerate tabbies.
