Ella was dumped in Skala in early 2006. She ran around the streets following tourists and begging but proved difficult to catch when a holidaymaker decided to adopt her to take back to the UK. After a couple of failed attempts Brenda from the gift shop next to CBR eventually managed to get a harness on her which made it possible to get her up to KATs to start her quarantine. She originally had a big problem with cats and it was feared that she would try to kill any she came into contact with. Now, however, she has stopped chasing them and is very much enjoying the company of the other dogs in kennels. She will go to her new owner in the UK when her quarantine is complete.
