Benjy was found in Katelios running around on three legs and in a bit of a state. Many tourists saw him around the beach and reported that he was there but it took two nurses on holiday to step in and do something about it. One of them fell in love with him and decided she wanted to keep him as her pet. She approached KATs to help her get him back to the UK. Benjy's coat was very knotty and tangled so Pat had to shave him as a priority. When she did she discovered that he had a fish hook embedded in his thigh. This was what had prevented him putting that leg down on the ground and caused the strange three-legged walk. Benjy has now been neutered and is currently doing his quarantine time on the island before being flown out to join his new owner. Sometimes he forgets the fish hook has been removed and runs about on three legs for a while simply out of habit.
