Twinkle came from Katelios where he had been living in a field with some cattle. He suffers from 'windswept hooves' which means they curl under on one side. The problem in Katelios was that he could not always be found so he never received regular treatment for his condition. Now, however, he is happily ensconced in the donkey enclosure and has already been visited twice by the farrier. He is recovering well and very happy to have plenty of donkey company.
